Masako）Yes, I loved this story. I don't know if it's worth 3,000 yen, though.
Sam）It has some wear and tear. When was it published?
Masako）In 1948. It's my favorite children story of all time.
Sam）Let's get it, Masako. And read it to the kids.
Masako）Okay.

＊It hasを強めると、「確かに」という気持ちが出ますが、情報を伝える表現。" wear and tear " は、使用されることでものに生じる摩耗や摩滅、ほころび、裂け目など、広い意味での「傷み」を表し、本、衣服、靴、家屋、機器に関してよく使われる。。
