・関係代名詞 " who , which , that " と関係副詞 "where , when , why " といった節による修飾。
・修飾の本質が、空所にあることを理解する。

Lesson184：「関係代名詞 that ②　省略ができないケース」

A) Did you hear someone in the apartment building singing late last night?
B) Yes, I think I heard a woman singing “Yesterday Once More” by the Carpenters. She was very good. But it was kind of loud.
A) The woman that lives next door is an English teacher. Maybe it was her practicing her pronunciation.
B) Oh, that’s possible. It’s very easy to understand each word of the Carpenters’ songs. That’s good for students studying English.
A) I agree, but I couldn’t sleep very well last night. Maybe we can ask her to go to karaoke with us someday.
B) That’s a good idea.

A) 昨日の夜遅くに、アパートで誰かが歌っているのが聞こえたかい？
B) ええ、女性がカーペンターズの「イエスタデイ・ワンス・モア」を歌っているのを聞いたように思うわ。彼女はとても上手だったわ。ちょっとうるさかったけど。
A) 隣に住んでいる女性は英語の先生だ。たぶん、発音の練習をしていたのは彼女だろうね。
B) ああ、その可能性はあるわね。カーペンターズの歌で使われているどの単語も、とても分かりやすいし。英語を勉強している学生の役に立つわ。
A) 確かにそうだけど、昨日の夜はよく眠れなかったよ。そのうち、彼女に一緒にカラオケに行くか聞いてみてもいいかもね。
B) それはいい考えだわ。

隣に住んでいる女性は英語の先生です。

＊ " lives next door " の主語が空所。主語が空所のパターンには、注意が必要！このパターンでは、必ず関係代名詞(that, who, which)は置かんといかん。→ 省略ができん。文の形を理解できないから。

3）career is actually much deeper than just saying work history. So career describes the course of your professional life from the beginning to the end.
