Lesson162「too のイメージ」
Ben）So, Aya, did you order the Christmas cake?
Aya）Oh, sorry. I meant to do it right after work, but I was too tired to think of it.
Ben）Don't worry. I guess things must be pretty hectic at your store.
Aya）Yeah. The Christmas season is horrendous for the sales staff, but fantastic for the sales!
Ben）Well, I have an easy schedule tomorrow, so I'll go directly to the cake shop and make the order.
Aya）Thanks a lot, sweetie.

＊horrendous = ものすごい、凄まじい、ひどい

- Check your grammar -
① mean「心が向いていてる」イメージ →「意図する」
　I meant to do it right after work.
　仕事のあとですぐにそうしようと思っていました
② things 「漠然とした状況」
　I guess things must be pretty hectic at your store.
　お店は大忙しに違いないと思います。

＊" too " は「～すぎる」。「疲れすぎていた」から「何かができないのだろうな」が想像され、それを後続の to 不定詞が「考えることが、ね」と説明している。
＊" pretty " は「very よりやや強調の度合いが小さい」。
＊" hectic " は「無秩序（カオス）な感じ」。

　本棚最上段のあの本に手が届きますか？私は背が低すぎるので。
・I guess things must be pretty hectic a your store.
　君のお店は大忙しに違いないと思います。
