Lesson101「聞く①：hear」

 A) Hi. I’m sorry to bother you guys in the middle of your practice.
 B) No problem. We’re taking a break.
 A) I think I know someone in your band. I saw your poster
 B) Oh, who’s that?
 A) Taro Tanaka.
 B) Taro Tanaka? In our band? I’ve never heard of anyone by that name.
 A) I think he’s your lead singer.
 B) You mean MCT? Oh, right. MC Taro. I didn’t know his real name was Taro. He’ll be back soon.

＊ " hear " は「聞こえる」。音が向こうからやってくる感触。
＊ " hear of " は「抽象的」。
＊ " hear about " は「具体的」。

 （例文）
・Have you heard about Geoff? He’s going to get married.
　ジェフについて聞いた？彼、結婚するんだよ。
・Sorry, I can’t hear you well.
　ごめん、よく聞こえないんだけど。
・I heard Ken play the piano.
　ケンがピアノを弾くのが聞こえた（物理的に）。
・I heard that Ken plays the piano.
　ケンが（習慣的に）ピアノを弾くという情報を聞いた
