Lesson149「重要な：essential, vital, key, crucial」
Landon）Hi, Misato! I heard your sales team has a new member.
Misato）Yes, a guy called Andy. He is really nice and easy to work with.
Landon）Have you already held a welcome party for him?
Misato）Actually, I’m in the middle of planning one. I was thinking of going to the sushi restaurant in the Hotel New Onishi.
Landon）Excellent idea, but that restaurant is very popular, so advance booking is essential.
Misato）I see. In that case, I’d better make a reservation as soon as possible.

① 空所（with の後）を用いる形容詞
　He is really nice and easy to work with.
　彼はとても感じが良くて一緒に働きやすいです。
② 「切迫」の had better
　I’d better make a reservation as soon as possible.
　できるだけ早く予約した方がいいですね。

＊" over the weekend " = 週末にかけて。

＊ " essential " は「絶対必要な」。essence（本質・核心）は何かを成り立たせる必須の成分。
＊" vital " は「必要不可欠」。元々、命に係わる言葉だから。" vital sign" = 生命兆候。
＊ " key " は「カギとなる → 重要な」。成就や成功のことの成り行きを決めるカギになるということ。
＊" crucial " のイメージは「十字」。今後の成り行きを決定づける岐路となる大変重要な言葉。
＊" attractive " は「魅力的な」。外見だけでなく、身体的・内面的なことを総合評価する。便利。
