A) What’s that you’re reading, Mitch?
B) I got a letter from Ken saying he is engaged.
A) What? Ken-our friend, the doctor?
B) Yes, they are going to have the wedding in Hawaii.
A) That’s great news. Who’s the bride-to-be?
B) Her name is Sakura. She’s Japanese. They met in medical college.
A) That’s a handwritten letter. Why didn’t he just send you an email?
B) Ken enjoys writing letters with a fountain pen.

＊" play tag " = 鬼ごっこ

　彼らはハワイで結婚式をすることになっているよ。。

② Why didn’t he just send you an email?
　なぜ彼はただeメールを送らなかったのでしょうか？

- Build up your vocabulary -

ケンが婚約したと書いてある手紙をケンから受け取りました。

＊ " get " のイメージは「動きが感じられる入手」って感じ。
＊ " hanve sandwiches " のイメージは「ただ食べた」。
＊ " get sandwiches " のイメージは「買ってきた」って感じ。
