・動詞が分からなければ、どうしようもない。

Lesson41「動詞の繊細な使い分けとイメージ：have, make, get, take」

A) Koichi, Sara and I are going out for lunch. Would you like to join us?
B) Thanks, Anna, but l already had lunch.
A) It’s only 11:30.
B) Yes, I skipped breakfast today because I woke up late.
A) So you didn’t listen to your morning English conversation program?
B) Right. I stayed up late watching internet videos.
A) What kind do you watch?
B) I usually watch cooking programs.
A) Hmm. You should stick to English conversation.

＊" stinky tofu " = 臭豆腐
＊" Come on " = 相手をたしなめる表現

① I skipped breakfast today because I woke up late.
今日は朝食抜きだったんだ。寝坊してしまったからね。
② I stayed up late watching internet videos.
インターネットの動画を見ていて遅くまで起きていたんだ。

I already had lunch.
私はもう昼食をとりました。

＊ここの " have " は「近くにある」ことを表す単語。「手に持つ」という動きを表す動詞ではない。" I got lunch " は外から食べ物を買って食べる感じ。

＊レストランでは（自分では動かずに）給仕係が持ってきてくれる → 動きが感じられない " have " を使う
＊何かを買う → 選んで「手に取る」動作 " take " を使う。

・This hotel has 200 quest rooms.
　このホテルには客室が200ある
・I’ll have this.「レストラン」
・I’ll take this.「洋服や」

2) " client " = ビジネス関係で使う単語。" customer " = 日常的な単語
