Dialog8「Someone’s at the door」

 A) Hi. Is everything okay?
 B) Oh, yes. I don’t hear a peep out of Elvis when you leave.
 C) Good. That’s nice to know.
 A) I wanted to tell you that we got a shelter dog.
 D) You did?
 A) He’s over there with Pam.
 B) Hi, there! We were wondering if you’d be open to letting Pooch play with Elvis.
 A) Sure. The more the merrier!

・not hear a peep out of 人　〜からはピーの音すら聞こえない
・That’s nice to know. 　それはいいことを聞きました

・We were wondering if 　私たち〜というのはどうかなと思っていたのですが

Elvis doesn’t bark when the Smiths leave anymore. Now their neighbors got a shelter dog. The more the merrier.
