Susie）I’m home!
Ryan）Hi, Susie. I cooked curry for dinner.
Susie）I know. I noticed the good smell of spices as soon as I opened the door.
Ryan）OK, let’s eat.
Susie）Yes, I’m starving.
Ryan）Er... Sorry, but the carrots are still a bit hard.
Susie）How long did you cook them for?
Ryan）I added them to the curry at the last minute. I thought they’d go soft very quickly.
Susie）Well, thanks for trying, honey. Should we order a take-out curry next time?

＊ " firm " は「しっかりした」。カチコチではないが、「形を変えない好印象な硬さ」。
＊" solid " は「中身が詰まってかたい」。ギュッとして、しっかりしてる。
