Rinko) I brought a salad.

Johnny）Thanks. My squash soup is a flop.

Rinko）What happened?

Johnny）First of all, my knife was very dull, and it took me forever to cut and peel the squash.

Rinko）Oh, too bad.

Johnny）And the soup tastes very bland.

Rinko）Let me taste it.

Johnny）Go ahead.

Rinko）Mmm! It tastes good! Just add a little cayenne pepper.

- Say It -
It tastes good!
＊ It tastes は、It の t を言ったつもりで息を一瞬止めて次の t につなげる。また、tastes の最後の tes も次に good が来るので「テイスグッド」と t の音が聞こえないようにする。

- Write It -
　ジョニーは、林子にスクワッシュスープは大失敗だと言います。林子は味見をして「おいしい」と言い、「ただトウガラシを少し加えて」と彼に言います。

Johnny tells Rinko (that) his squash soup is a flop. Rinko tastes it, says it tastes good and tells him to just add a little cayenne pepper.
