 Johnny) Johnny, meet my sister Fujiko.

Fujiko）How are you doing?

Johnny）Hi, Fujiko. What are you selling today?

Fujiko）We've got squash, celery, cauliflower.

Johnny）You grew these?

Fujiko）Yes. I'm a hobby farmer. My husband has a job in town, but we live on a farm.

Johnny）You have the best of both worlds.

Fujiko）I like to think so.

＊肯定の表現です。相手のコメントに対して、" I think so."  より控え目な言い回しですが、" I hope so."よりは肯定感を強く表せます。

＊ 英語で物事を列挙するときに、一語ずつ平たんにいくか、または語尾をあげてと続けることがよくある。

　 ジョニーは、林子の姉の富士子に会います。富士子はホビー農家で、夫は町で仕事をしています。二人は、両方の世界の最も良いところを享受しています。
