Will）Not exactly. I was involved in a long argument on a social media site.
Riko）What were you arguing about?
Will）About the guy’s rude and insulting comments.
Riko）That’s too bad. We need to respect each other’s opinions.
Will）I agree with you.

＊ " respect "はたとえ意見が違っていても、たとえ好きではなくても、その価値を認めすばらしいものだと「尊重する・一目置く・認める」こと。" adore ", " look up to " でもない。
