Yayol）Amsterdam is such a beautiful city!
Jonas）Yes, it’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
Yayoi）I can understand why. Oh, look! I’ve seen videos of those colorful buildings. They’re famous.
Jonas）The conference hall is not too far from here.
Yayoi）When are we meeting the Amsterdam staff?
Jonas）We are supposed to meet them in twenty minutes.
Yayoi）Great! I’m looking forward to talking with them today.

＊ " be supposed to " は「～することになっている」。規則や法律・約束などの決まり事に使う。" suppose " の語源が「下に置く」で「判断の土台」が感じられる動詞。仮定の使い方もある。
＊" assume " は「～が本当だと思う、仮定する」。「受け入れる」イメージ。
