Lesson56「さまざまな変化：change」

A) Hi, Mio. How was your high school reunion party last weekend?
B) It was fun, but I think I drank too much.
A) Did everyone look the same as they did in high school?
B) My friend Kumiko has changed a lot. She used to be so quiet, but she’s really talkative now.
A) Do you think you’ve changed?
B) I can’t really say. If I have, I hope it’s for the better
A) I’m sure that’s the case.

＊" talkative " = おしゃべりな
＊" can’t say " = 分からない

＊ " change " は「変化」がイメージ。" into " と用いると「ガラッと」変わる感じになる。

＊自動詞でも他動詞でも使える。

＊ " exchange " は「あげて・もらう」という2方向がある。
