Lesson191：「関係代名詞　which 人以外を先行詞とする」

 A) What’s wrong, Alexis?
 B) I’m thinking about our future. There are so many things we need to decide.
 A) Relax. Everything will work out fine. But first of all, you need to choose your ring.
 B) That’s what I’m worried about the most. The engagement ring which I want is too expensive.
 A) Don’t worry about it, Alexis. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime present. The money is not important.
 B) Are you sure?
 A) Of course. By the way, how much is it?
 B) It’s 10,000 dollars .
 A) Oh, I see. What’s your second choice?

私が欲しいと思っている婚約指輪は高価すぎる

＊" which " は「人以外：モノ・出来事・動物など」を先行詞とする。

（例文）

・Where is the parcel which arrived this morning?
　今朝届いた小包はどこにあるのですか？
＊ parcel is not really used in America. Instead, usually we say package.

（答え）
1) The hotel which you recommended was excellent.

3) The country I’d most like to visit is Croatia.
    = The country I’d like to visit most is Croatia.
（解説）
1）excellent = magnificent, splendid, fantastic, wonderful, etc.
3）Croatia = クロェィシア
