A) We’re going to the picnic next Monday, right? I can’t wait!
B) Yeah… I’m really looking forward to it.
A) It doesn’t sound like it. What’s wrong?
B) To tell you the truth, I might not be able to go because I have a problem with my car.
A) I see. So do you need someone to give you a ride?
B) Er… that’s right.
A) Well, don’t worry. Let’s go together. I’ll pick you up around 11:30, OK?
B) Are you sure? I don’t want to trouble you.
A) No problem at all. What are friends for?

そうな私、とても楽しみにしているわ。
A) It doesn’t sound like it. What’s wrong?
そんなふうには聞こえないよ。どうしたの？
B) To tell you the truth, I might not be able to go because I have a problem with my car.
実を言うと、車に問題があって、私は行けないかもしれないの。
A) I see. So do you need someone to give you a ride?
そうか。じゃあ、誰か車に乗せてくれる人が必要なんだね？
B) Er… that’s right

A) Well, don’t worry.Let’s go together.
だったら、心配いらないよ。一緒に行こうよ。

B) Are you sure? I don’t want to trouble you.
