「Getting Starstruck」(ミーハーになって）

 (状況）マイクがホテルのロビーに座ってる女性にインタビューしてる。

　B) 私はエンターテインメント業界にいます
　A) ほぉ、そうなんですか？
　B) ええ。これまでに全国で1500万枚のレコードを売り上げています。
　A) まさかあなたは、西のスター、じゃないでしょうね！ ロレッタ・スーさん
　B) 本人です.
　A) 分かりませんでしたよ！
　B) お忍びなの。人目につかないようにしているのが好きで。
　A) サインをいただいてもいいですか？
　B) それはもう！

　B) I’m in the entertainment business.
　A) Oh, really?

　A) I didn’t recognize you!
　B) I’m incognito. I like to keep out of the public eye.

　A) May I have your autograph?
　B) Why, of course!

　　のように発音する。

　＊北米は、「にぃ～Dぉぅ」と発音する

- Write It -
　有名なカントリーシンガー、ロレッタ・スーはお忍びでこの町にいます。彼女は人目につかないようにしているのが好きですが、それでも喜んでマイクにサインをしてあげます。

(解説）

・「The ~ singer」

　→　人物が歌手と決まっているので,

　　「a」だけでなく「The」を使うことができる。

・「in town」

　→「in this town」は誤り。

　今 いる町で会話が行われてるため、「this」を使うと不自然。

・「Even though」

　→「But」は対立する二つの意味があるときに使う。

　　そのため、今回は使えない。

・「autograph」

　→「sign」は、記号や標識

　＊本を見ずに、ラジオを聞いて書いてるため誤りがあるかもしれません。その時は、すみません (^^)/
