Travel blogger) I'm planning to take Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica.
Friend）How cool! When are you going?
Travel blogger）This spring. I drive to Chicago first. That's a four-hour drive, right?
Friend）Hmm. Give or take an hour, yes.
Travel blogger）Then I'll be stopping here and there along the way to take photos. Want to come along?
Friend）I thought you'd never ask! Yes!

- Words & Expressions -
・here and there 　あちこちで
・take Route 66 from A to B　ルート66でAからBまで行く
・How cool!　すごいね！
・give or take ～　（時間や量が）～ぐらい前後するけれど
・tell … the dos and don'ts 　…に注意事項を伝える・教える
・I'll ～ be ing　私は～するでしょう
・along the way　道中・途中で
・Want to come along?　一緒に来ませんか？
・I thought you'd never ask.　誘ってくれないかと思っていました

I'll be stopping here and there along the way.
道中あちこちでストップします。

＊情報を伝える表現。" here and there " は「そこここで」「所々で」「ここかしこに」「ちらほら」「いろいろな所で」などと訳出できます。そして " I'll be ～ ing " は「未来に身を置いて予定を伝える」パターン。

- Say It -
I thought you'd never ask!
＊you'd の d は「舌先を上の歯茎の裏に軽くタッチ」して never に繋ぐと楽。I thought you'd never その時にちょっと d のような音が出ると非常に英語らしい。上の歯茎の裏に軽く舌先をタッチするという、このトリックができるようになると " d, t " などが大変言い安くなる

- Write It -
　あるブロガーが、この春にルート66を行き、道中あちこちでストップして写真を撮ることを計画しています。彼女の友人は大喜びで参加します。

A blogger is planning to take Route 66 this spring stopping here and there along the way to take photos. Her friend is more than happy to join her.
