David）Hi, Naoko. Is everything OK?
Naoko）I'm fine, thanks. It's just Liz, the new recruit.
David）What's the problem?
Naoko）She's feeling down after the boss told her she needed to be more efficient.
David）What exactly does that mean?
Naoko）Maybe she was slow handing in a report or something.
David）Right. The boss can be too strict. Hey, let's invite her out for dinner on Friday. That will make her feel much better.
Naoko）That's a great idea. Leave it to me.

2) " ups and downs " = 様々な浮き沈みに使える。but, 形容詞で具体化する。
