 A) Hi, Gene. Guess who I bumped into at the bookstore yesterday.
 B) Your long-lost uncle?
 A) Ha ha! No. It was Tsubasa. He was there with a lot of books in his hands.
 B) Really? What kind of books was he buying?
 A) Test preparation guides. His job requires that he take an international English test.
 B) Oh, good for him. Did you buy anything?
 A) Yes, I bought Professor Peacock’s latest book. I’m looking forward to reading

＊" put forward " = 提案する
＊" relish " = 楽しむ、味わう

＊ " require " は「要求する」。イメージの中心には「need」がある。要求された内容は現実ではないため、現在形は使えない。冷めた客観的な単語。
＊ " demand " は「要求する」。「感情の高揚」が感じられる。机をたたく感じ。
