A) Uwate Chiropractic Clinic.
B) Hi, Ikuzo. It’s Stella.
A) Hi, Stella. What’s up?
B) I can’t make it today. I’m sorry about the short notice.
A) What happened?
B) I have to pick up Jeremy from school. He has a fever.
A) Poor little guy.
B) I’ll call back to reschedule as soon as I can.
A) Okey-dokey. No problem.

＊ " about the " の the を弱める。" short n- " の t を弱める。。

　ステラはカイロブラクターに電話をして予約をキャンセルします。彼女は急な連絡で恐縮していますが、子どもを学校へ迎えに行かなければならないのです。

Stella calls her chiropractor and cancels her appointment. She’s sorry about the short notice, but she has to pick up her child from school.
