A) Good morning, Yayoi. Did you turn on your computer?
B) Yes, of course. It’s already 10 o’clock. I’m checking my emails now.
A) Did you read the one I sent you at 9:00?
B) Nine today? Sorry, I don’t seem to have received your email.
A) Maybe it went into your junk mail folder.
B) Oh, here it is. What is this?
A) You’ve won the New Product Idea Award from our company. Congratulations! You really deserve it.
B) Wow! Thanks a lot.

＊" give – a buzz " = 〜に電話をかける
＊" whiz " = 達人

コンピューターの電源は入れたかい？

② Maybe it went into your junk mail folder.
たぶんそれは君の迷惑メールのフォルダに入ったのではないかな。
③ Congratulations! Thanks a lot.。

＊③の s は省略できない。

＊ " receive " は「getよりも固い響きを持っ」って感じ。教育・治療・歓待など「受ける」一般に広く対応する。
＊ " accept " は「受け手の積極的な同意」がある。快く受け取るということ。
＊ " deserve " のイメージは「ふさわしい」って感じ。
