B) That’s a cheap shot.

＊意見を伝える表現。" jump the gun " は「スタートピストルが鳴る前に飛び出す」ことで、時期尚早・それは早すぎる、という気持ちで使う。陸上競技由来のイディオム。

＊ " the " は「ザ」と言わない。口をほとんど開かないようにして「ズぁ」と言うと、後続の単語を言い易くなる。

リリーとマックという2羽の鳥は婚約したばかり。ゴシップ好きの鳥は、リリーは気まぐれで南へ渡るに違いないから、時期がまだ早いと考えています。
