（状況）引っ越しをしたグレースは、新居に友人を招いた

A) 家寿！来てくれたのね！さぁ入って！
B) とてもすてきなお宅ですね！
A) まあ、ありがとう。
B) これ、つまらないものなのですが。
A) そんな、よかったのに！
B) ミニハーブガーデンなんです。
A) まあかわいい！これでキッチン、とても引き立つわ！l
B) 気に入ってもらえてよかった。
A) こちらへどうぞ。くつろいでね、家寿。私、ちょっと玄関に出ないと。

A) lehisa! You made it! Come on in!
B) What a nice place you have!
A) Why, thank you..
B) I have a little something for you.
A) Oh, you shouldn’t have!
B) It’s a mini herb garden.
A) How lovely! This will really liven up my kitchen!
B) I’m glad you like it.
A) Come this way. Make yourself at home, lehisa. I just have to get the door.

＊感謝の表現。" liven up ~ " = " brighten up ~ " は、「~を引き立てる、元気にする」の意味

＊感嘆文は、気持ちを込めて言う。感嘆文の形だけで十分だろうと思い、無表情のまま言うと皮肉に捉えられる。" nice place " を強調して言う

家寿はグレースの引っ越し祝いのパーティーにやって来ます。彼は彼女にミニハーブガーデンを持参します。彼女はそれがキッチンをとても引き立てると言います。

＊家寿は、もうそこにいるので、" bring " の代わりに " take " は使えない

ある女王が新しい城へ日本の大名を招待した。

It is a tea ceremony set with a tea house and a master. The master speaks English.
