Masa）Pierre, thank you for taking me to this restaurant. This view of the Christmas illuminations is beautiful.
Pierre）But not as beautiful as you, Kaya!
Kaya）Oh, come on.
Pierre）Ha ha! So, how do you like the food?
Kaya）This cheese dish is delicious! What is it called?
Pierre）It's called raclette. The name refers to both the dish and the famous Swiss cheese.
Kaya）I just love cheese.
Pierre）Me too. And there are so many different cheeses in the world.

＊bowing = お辞儀
＊understatement = 控えめな表現

＊可算：具体的で決まった形があるなら
＊不可算：抽象的で形がないなら
＊不可算・可算で意味が違うのがある
＊" cheeses " =チーズは決まった形がなく、通常は不可算扱いとなる名詞。可算扱いとなっているのは「見方」が違っているから。チーズそのものではなく、チーズの「種類」が意識されている。
＊" wines, coffees " = 「品目」が意識される

　チーズはデザートの前に出すべきか、それともあとで出すべきか？

　パーティーでワインを飲み過ぎました。

 1) " full-bodied " = 非常に重く強い味を持っている
 2) " get used to " = 何度も使っていると、慣れるから。
