Lesson113「「説明する」を表す動詞：explain, show, demonstrate, illustrate」
A) Dad, I’m really enjoying this magic show. I love magic.
B) Me too. Oh, here comes the magician again with his lovely assistant.
A) Yeah, he’s putting her into the box.
B) And now he closes the doors of the box, and she disappears!
A) Wow! How did he do that?
B) I know the secret of this classic trick. I can explain everything.
A) Well, tell me after the show. I want to see a lot more magic tricks first.

＊" a fortune " = 大金

＊ " explain " は「説明する」。他動詞。。
＊ " show " は「地図や身振りを使い説明する」。tell はただの口の説明。
＊ " demonstrate " は「showに近い見せる」。周りの人が注目している感じがある。
＊ " illustrate " は「指示をする」。何かの手順・やり方など。

（例文）
・I don’t know how to use this printer. – Don’t worry. I’ll show you.
　このプリンターの使い方わからないよ。一大丈夫。教えてあげるから。
・He showed me how to get to the station.
　彼は駅への行き方を私に教えてくれました。
・The salesman demonstrated how to use the grater.
　セールスマンはそのおろし金の使い方を実演した。
・These slides will help me illustrate our company structure.
　これらのスライドは私がわが社の組織構成を説明する助けになるはずです
