A) Hi, Maya. How was the book-signing event last night?
B) I had a good time. I’ve always wanted to meet the author, Brendan Peacock.
A) Oh, he’s an expert on ancient civilizations, isn’t he?
B) Yes, he’s an interesting speaker as well.
A) Was it crowded?
B) Yes, it was packed and noisy. But everyone stopped chatting when the author arrived.
A) Can I see the book that he signed?
B) Sure, here it is.
A) Wow, the photographs are amazing!
