A) Amy, I got you a card.
C) “Will you be my Valentine?” Yes, I will!
A) Are you free tonight? I want to take you out to dinner.
C) Yes!
B) Okay, you two stop talking and get back to work!

・take – out to dinne 　〜にディナーをご馳走する、〜をディナーに誘う　「buy – dinner」より正式な響き

＊感謝の表現。" come up with ..." は、日常会話・ビジネスでよく使われる。" up " を高く言う

The diner is packed thanks to the new menu. Bud is so happy (that) Amy and Jacob have come up with a great menu. Jacob is taking Amy out to dinner tonight.
