A) Mom, I want an ice cream. Just like the one that girl is eating.
B) Koya, we’re going to have a nice dinner on the big ship in an hour. Remember?
A) That’s not a problem. I can eat both.
B) No, it’ll ruin your appetite.
A) How about some popcorn instead?
B) Koya, we came to this amusement park for the rides, not the food.
A) I know, but pleeeease!

＊" put forward " = 提案する
＊" relish " = 楽しむ、味わう

- Check your grammar -

　あの女の子が食べているのと同じようなのが。

＊ " want " は「欲しい」。生々しさがある。「子供っぽく」感じられることがある。「必要」という表し方もある（相手の立場に立って）。
＊ " ’d like " は「大人な表現」。「感情の高揚」が感じられる。机をたたく感じ。
＊ " ’d love " は「want より強い表現」。

（例文）
・I’d like the Caesar salad, but without the bacon, if possible.
　シーザーサラダをいただきたいのですが、可能ならベーコンなしで。
・Do you want to grab a coffee? - I would love to.
　コーヒー飲みたい？　　ええぜひとも。

・You want to study harder if you hope to pass the exam.
　試験に合格したければ、もっと一生懸命勉強する必要がありますね。
