　あなたは同僚に話しかける。マリの婚約というビックニュースを伝えるため。あなたはマリからの連絡でそれを知った。
「マリについて聞いた？婚約したというメールを受け取ったのよ。彼女へのプレゼントを一緒に買うのもいいんじゃないかなって感じているの。もし賛成してくれるなら、彼女と話して、何が欲しいのか聞いてみるわ」

Did you hear about Mari? I got an email from her saying she was engaged.
I feel it’s a good idea to buy her a present together.
If you agree, l’ll talk to her and ask what she wants.
