A) It’s getting hotter and hotter, so it’s a great chance to sell more air conditioners.
B) We’re already doing well. Sales are clearly up on last year.
A) I know, but we can do even better. So, I want you to work every weekend this month.
B) Every weekend? Give me a break, boss! That’s impossible.
A) I’ll give you a big bonus at the end of the month.
B) Ah! Well. OK then.

＊ " give " は「授与」。特殊なニュアンスはない。自由度が高い。
＊ " give " は「たわむ・しなる・降参する」という表現もある。明け渡すイメージから。
