A) どのようなお仕事をされていますか、カート？
B) タクシーを運転じています。
A) きっとたくさんの面白い人物と会うんでしょうね。
B) 会いますよ。誰にでも聞いてもらいたい話があるものです
A) あなたにとっていちばんの難題とは何ですか？
B) お客さんがあいまいな指示をしてくるときですね。
A) ほう？
B) 公園の隣にあるスーパーマーケットへ連れて行って」みたいなことを言うんです。
A) それはあいまいだわ！
B) そうでしょう。

A) What kind of work do you do, Cart?
B) I drive a cab.
A) You must meet lots of interesting characters.
B) I do. Everyone has a story to tell.
A) What’s your biggest challenge?
B) It’s when a passenger gives me vague directions.
A) Really?
B) They’ll say something like "Take me to the supermarket next to the park."
A) That’s vague!
B) You’re telling me.

・meet lots of interesting characters 　たくさんの面白い人物に会う
・Everyone has a story to tell.

　誰にでも聞いてもらいたい。語るべき話があるものです。
・It’s when – 　　　それは～のとき。
・vague direction 　　あいまいな指示
・They’ll say something like  「このwillは未来でなく通常よく起こることを表す」
・You’re telling me. 　そうでしょう。（それは言わずもがな）

＊challenge はマイナスイメージの「problem , trouble , difficulty」の代わりによく使われる
