Dialog1「Rinko Meets Johnny」

 A) Hi. I'm Rinko. Welcome to the neighborhood!
 B) Pleasure to meet you. I'm Johnny.
 A) I brought you an apple from one of my trees.
 B) Why, thank you!
 A) You're welcome to come by and pick more.
 B) I'd very much like to do that. When would be a good time?
 A) I'm home all day tomorrow.
 B) I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks again!

・Welcome to the neighborhood!　ご近所へようこそ
・Pleasure to meet you.　よろしくお願いします
・Why!　それは、それは
・You're welcome to ～　遠慮なく～してください
・come by 　立ち寄る
・pick　  もぐ/採る
・I'd very much like to do that. 　是非ともそうしたいです
・Thanks again!　重ねてありがとう!（すでに一度感謝した場合に使う）

- Apply It -
When would be a good time?
いつがご都合よろしいですか?

＊情報を求める表現。 " will " でなく " would "  にして丁寧さを出す。

（応用練習）
A) Let's get together some time soon.
B) Great. When would be a good time?
A) How about Monday next week after five?
B) That would be great.

- Say It -
Welcome to the neighborhood!
＊ " welcome" の come の 部分 o は「ウエルカム」ではなく口をわずかに開き、力を半ば抜いて出す母音（シュワー）に。

- Write It -
　林子は隣人のジョニーに挨拶をします。彼女は、遠慮なくリンゴをもぎに来てくださいと彼に言います。二人は次の日に会うことにします。

Rinko meets her next door neighbor Johnny. She tells him (that) he is welcome to come by and pick her apples. They arrange to see each other the next day.

（解説）

・" next door neighbor " = すぐ隣
・" arrange " = decide よりフレンドリー
